Recovery from Financial Abuse

Many survivors of domestic violence have experienced financial abuse, a common form of control used by abusers. Financial abuse can include preventing the victim from working, preventing access to financial resources, and destroying the victim’s credit. Safe Berks provides assistance to survivors to help them recover from financial abuse, and build financial stability and success.
